tuna motor
tuna motor

Lovingly crafted from a base of the finest chunk white albacore, layered with 5.25" floppy drive coils, and topped with a duality of rare-earth hard drive magents delicately blended with slow-roasted rotisserie cast aluminum

crappy motor
crappy motor

Made from an old wire spool, way too little magnet wire, two hard drive magents, and a stainless rod from a cd player

controller
three phase motor inverter

Sqaure waves and bipolar transistors for now...
voltage: 5-20 Volts
frequency: 3-250 Hertz
current: depends-on-how-long-you-run-it  Amps

inverter
single phase inverter

the beginnings of a single phase 12VDC -> 120VAC inverter.  square waves and light loads only for now.  coming soon:  sine waves and high and low side N-channel FETs with 4A drivers
